Important information
As we are involved in events and have important news updates, we will post information here.

The Political Landscape and the work of CTCC As many may know, there have been a remarkable number of policy changes coming from the new administration in Washington, D.C. that affect the status of immigrants. The Humanitarian Parole programs for United for Ukraine has been paused and the CHNV (Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, Venezuela) parole program has been terminated. Applications for alternate status such as Temporary Protective Status have been restricted, paused, or terminated. We know that further executive orders aimed at reducing the number of immigrants in the country may still be forthcoming. These changes impact most of the families welcomed and resettled by CTCC and we are, of course, very concerned for their futures. Furthermore, it throws into turmoil the lives of all who are seeking safety and refuge in our country. Called to Care, Canandaigua stands with those we have welcomed. We continue to seek their welfare and offer support in any way we are able, regardless of the political climate. We welcome your participation in our efforts and invite you to reach out to us to learn how you might assist.
